Your questions and answers will be posted here on the FAQ page.
Can a person who lives in Canada be granted permission to possess a bird of prey (Owls, Hawks, Osprey, Kestrels, Falcons, etc.) ?
Yes they can. Once you obtain the bird, first put it in the freezer, then find your nearest Ministry of Natural Resources. Bring the bird to your local MNR office to receive your legal permit which will allow you to bring the bird to a Taxidermist. Your Taxidermist WILL NOT take any bird without the proper paperwork.
Can a person who lives in the United States be granted permission to possess a bird of prey?
Yes. Obtaining the permit is much more difficult in the U.S. Most often, only educational institutions such as museums and schools will be granted a permit. Native American Indians living in the U.S. may also receive the permit.
